Jammaround began as a revolutionary music collaboration platform that won the top prize at New Orleans Entrepreneur Week’s IDEApitch competition in 2022—making us the first Black-led startup to receive the $400,000 award. Recognized for our innovation and impact, we were later selected by Andreessen Horowitz’s Talent x Opportunity (TxO) program in 2023, joining a national cohort of high-potential startups led by underrepresented founders.
Jammaround was founded by Brent Craige, Marlon Butler, and Donovan Williams—three creatives and technologists who believe artists deserve tools that match the speed of their ambition. Their shared vision was to create an infrastructure where artists and music professionals can connect more efficiently, powered by technology that listens, learns, and scales. From their roots in New Orleans to the national stage, the founders remain committed to reshaping the future of music—one artist interaction at a time.
What started as a tool to help artists create and collaborate has evolved into something much bigger.
Today, Jammaround is building the first AI A&R Operating System—a scalable platform that lets music businesses deploy custom AI agents to discover, communicate with, and manage artists 24/7. These AI A&R agents can review songs, give feedback, qualify leads, and even help labels, DJs, and gear brands engage with artists at scale.
We’re not just changing how music is made—we’re transforming how it’s discovered, nurtured, and brought to the world.
